Danielle Conforti, LPC(MO), LCPC(KS)

Missouri, Telehealth Only (She/Her)

My name is Danielle and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (MO) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (KS) who specializes in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, military and first responder trauma, and LGBTQIA-related issues. Throughout my years as a clinician, I have learned that the best therapy is done when a positive connection and therapeutic trust can be built and maintained. I work hard to make therapy a safe place for my clients to open up and feel supported and valued.

Although therapy can be intense and hard at times, I work to keep a positive balance between seriousness and humor. I am a person-centered therapist at heart and I believe in encouraging and challenging my clients to grow through their challenges by using and trusting in their own strengths and wisdom. Life can oftentimes be confusing and difficult, so as a therapist it is my job to offer support, knowledge, and skills to help process through self-doubt, trauma, and cognitive distortions that have often been ingrained from our childhood experiences.

Along with my clinical expertise, I have also been trained in a number of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). In conjunction with these modalities, a positive therapeutic connection, and a little bit of motivation, my clients will be able to reach any goal they set for themselves. If you’re interested in meeting with me and beginning your journey toward confidence and healing, please contact the Small Victories Wellness today!
