Cassandra Saint Louis, LMSW

Middletown, CT & Telehealth

My name is Cassandra, and I am a clinician who approaches therapeutic work with warmth, kindness and empathic understanding. I strive to create an environment in which clients feel heard, understood, and supported in facing their challenges. Through a strengths-based perspective, I provide guidance to clients in identifying and utilizing their personal strengths to pursue the change they want to create in their lives.

In practice, I utilize techniques from a number of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Specific techniques are tailored to the client depending on their needs, allowing for more effective application and positive outcomes.

Although I enjoy working with adults, my true passion is working with children and adolescents. My unique ability to engage and communicate with young people has helped me to provide meaningful support in managing their mental health concerns. Through early, effective intervention these vulnerable individuals are equipped with the tools necessary to support healthy development into adulthood. It is this passion that drives my efforts and allows me the privilege of engaging in therapeutic work.
